Most patients experience some discomfort the first 4 days to a week after their braces, expanders, and/or wires are placed and after a wire adjustment appointment, but remember that this discomfort will quickly fade. Check out how dealing with braces discomfort answer below.

Braces work by gradually moving the teeth into a new and proper alignment with gentle activations being applied during your regular adjustment visits.

Dependant on your choice of braces, generally Dr Semaan will replace the current wires, and/or tighten bands on the braces to put additional pressure on the teeth to keep your treatment plan progressing

Appointments are held at regular intervals four to eight weeks apart so that Dr.Semaan can adjust your braces and check your progress. These appointments generally take between 20 and 40 minutes depending on your needs.
